Sound familiar?

Mixing at home is one skill.
Performing is another.

Most DJs who learned alone hit the same wall — the mix works in the bedroom, and nowhere else.

  • 01Your home mixes are tight — but one slip in front of people and the whole thing unravels
  • 02You trust the sync button more than your ears, and it quietly bugs you
  • 03You've never stood behind club CDJs — and you don't want the first time to be at a gig
  • 04You're ready to play out, but you have no recording that proves what you can do

Eight hours of pressure drills behind club decks, with a working DJ correcting you in real time — that's what closes the gap between mixing at home and performing in a room.

By session four

Where you'll be four weeks from now.

01

Mix fully by ear

Screens down, sync off. Find the tempo by hand, lock tracks in by listening alone, and trust your ears in a loud room.

02

Recover without panic

Pitch drifts, a cue misfires, an exit goes wrong — you fix it before the dancefloor ever notices.

03

Prep like a professional

A Rekordbox library built for performing: cues, loops, energy planning, and echo, filter, and reverb used with taste.

04

A set that books gigs

Your capstone: an advanced set performed under pressure on CDJ-style club gear — recorded, and yours to send to promoters.

Curriculum

Four sessions.
All pressure-tested.

Every session is hands-on drills and reps on club gear — building to a capstone set you perform and record.

01

Mixing by Ear session

2 hours

Mixing by Ear

Strip away the visual crutches. Manual tempo finding, ear-led beatmatching, and fast corrections when pitch, cues, or EQ slip.

02

Transitions and Recovery session

2 hours

Transitions and Recovery

Phrase-aware blends, clean EQ discipline, hot cues, and loops — to extend mixes, rescue exits, and stay in control of any transition.

03

Prep, FX, and Set Flow session

2 hours

Prep, FX, and Set Flow

Sequence a set in Rekordbox, plan energy across a full hour, and layer echo, filter, and reverb without losing the mix.

04

The Capstone Set session

2 hours

The Capstone Set

Pressure drills and booth readiness on CDJ-style gear, then your advanced set — performed, recorded, and ready to share.

Is this your level?

An honest check before you book.

Pro DJ Perform works because both DJs in the room can already hold a mix. Quick signs it fits — and where to start if it doesn't yet.

  • 01You can beatmatch and hold a mix — on a controller, decks, or software
  • 02You still lean on sync or the waveforms sometimes, and you want to stop needing them
  • 03You're comfortable finding, organizing, and loading your own music
  • 04You want honest, in-person coaching under pressure — not another tutorial
