The short version: no experience needed, all gear provided, flexible scheduling, no hidden fees.
Yes. Most of our students start with zero experience. We teach from the ground up, starting with the equipment, music structure, and your first transitions. You do not need any prior DJ experience, music theory background, or equipment to begin.
Yes. Our Pro DJ Perform course or Private Coaching are perfect for more experienced DJs who want to take their skills to the next level or work on specific goals.
All sessions are in-person at our studio location in Center City, Philly. We believe hands-on training with direct feedback is the most effective way to learn DJing.
The course follows a clear step-by-step structure, so you're never guessing what to practice next. Each session builds on the last, and you'll get hands-on repetition with direct feedback as you go. There is also optional bonus material if you want extra things to practice between classes.
After you book, we'll match you into your group of 3–4 based on everyone's availability and confirm your class schedule — we'll keep you posted every step of the way.
Nothing is needed– except for a positive attitude, of course! If you'd like to DJ with your own music, you can bring your own laptop to the third and fourth sessions. If you don't feel comfortable sharing headphones, feel free to bring a pair!
