One-on-one instruction in the studio at any level — from complete beginners to working DJs. A flexible alternative to First Transition or Pro DJ Fundamentals if you prefer private time.

For DJs who already beatmatch and want tighter transitions, faster recovery, smarter prep, and the confidence to play a full set on professional Pioneer DJ® equipment.

Mix by ear

Beatmatch with less visual help, find tempo manually, and recover quickly when pitch, cues, or EQ slip.

Transitions & recovery

Phrase-aware blends, clean EQ, hot cues, and looping to extend mixes, fix exits, and stay in control.

Prep, FX & set flow

Rekordbox sequencing, energy planning, and tasteful echo, filter, and reverb — combined without losing the mix.

Capstone performance

Pressure drills, booth readiness on CDJ-style gear, and an advanced set you can actually play under pressure.

We teach at Apex Rehearsal & Musician Services on 9th & Catharine Street in Center City Philadelphia. It's a professional rehearsal studio built for focused, hands-on sessions.

Sessions run on professional Pioneer DJ® club-standard equipment with studio-grade monitors and direct instructor feedback.
